国际シンポジウムを开催しました
米国カリフォルニア州にある非営利臨床研究センターのシティ オブ ホープ（City of Hope: COH）より研究者を迎え国际シンポジウムを开催しました。
本シンポジウムは、生物科学研究および异なる分野にまたがる学际的な研究の促进を触発するとともに、山口大学とシティ?オブ?ホープの协力関係を强化することを目的としています。2017年以来の强固な基盘のもと、より强いつながりを筑き、多様な科学分野にわたる革新的な进歩を促进することを目指しています。
颁翱贬は化学発癌研究で世界的に着名であった木下良顺教授（大阪大学?鲍颁尝础）を始めとする日本人研究者の活跃により発展し?世界初のバイオ医薬品（ヒトインスリン）の开発、ヒト型抗体医薬の开発などを遗伝子工学でリードしてきた研究所です。また、现在では多くの先端医疗の推进、がん治疗法の开発で全米においてトップのがん専门病院の一つとして、トランスレーショナルリサーチによる特许収入は数百亿円を超え?顕着な社会贡献実绩でも知られています?
シンポジウム４日目のプログラムでは、小串キャンパスにて工学部教员、医学部生や高校生が研究成果を英语で発表し、活発な议论が行われました。このセッションでの研究交流を通じて、今后の国际协働の推进が期待されます。

An international symposium was held with invited researchers from City of Hope (COH), a non-profit clinical research center in California, USA.
Catalyzing progress in biomedical and interdisciplinary research, this symposium was dedicated to enhancing the collaborative bond between 91亚色 and City of Hope. Building on a solid foundation since 2017, our goal was to forge stronger connections and foster innovative advancements across diverse scientific fields.
The COH was developed through the activities of world-renowned Japanese researchers such as Professor Riojun Kinoshita (Osaka University and UCLA). It was the leading research institute of genetic engineering, including the development of the world’s first biopharmaceutical (human insulin) and human antibody therapeutics. COH is also one of the top cancer hospitals in the USA, known for its outstanding contributions to society.
On the fourth day of the symposium, a vibrant research exchange session took place at the Kogushi Campus. Faculty members from the School of Engineering, medical students, and a high school student presented their research results in English, sparking lively discussions. This session was a platform for fostering international collaboration between the two institutions, with the hope of promoting future partnerships.
